MR. IRA SLAVIT: There's been a lot of interest paid to the drug CHANTIX, which is a drug that is on the market to help people stop smoking. It became a matter of great publicity when musician Carter Albrecht was actually killed in a very freak circumstance, but basically stemming from the fact that he was trying to stop smoking, took the medication, became agitated, depressed, suicidal and in his significant other's opinion, a completely different person.

Up to that point, even though the manufacturer knew and warned in the fine print of neuropsychiatric changes that people might experience in taking the drug, it was never put in the bit handout or in bit writing in the handout that the patient would get at the pharmacy. That has since changed.
