Police are on the lookout for a dark-colored pickup truck that was involved in a hit-and-run on Pitman Avenue in the Bronx, according to ABC 7’s Eyewitness News. The incident occurred on September 22nd at 7:55 PM, when the truck backed over the woman as she was crossing the street, resulting in her suffering injuries to her legs and feet. The National Transportation Safety Board (“NSTB”) reported that its investigation into the truck accident on the New Jersey Turnpike in which comedian Tracy Morgan was severely injured and another comedian killed found the driver of the Wal-Mart truck that struck Morgan’s limousine responsible for the accident. The truck driver had not slept in 28 hours and had failed to slow down despite posted warning signs.
