Your children deserve to have safe toys.

MR. IRA SLAVIT: In the year 2007, 29 million toys were recalled as posing an unreasonable danger to our children. 29 million toys. And it continues today. All kinds of hazards: small, detachable parts that can be swallowed and become choking hazards; high powered magnets that can also be ingested and then attach to one another inside the child and perforate or block an intestine; open spaces like slats on the side of a crib that can become a choking or suffocation hazard for a child; long pieces of string that can become strangulation hazards. And the list goes on. Chemicals on toys that when licked by the child become the equivalent of the date rape drug. Hard to believe, but true.
These problems go beyond just cheaply made imports. These are problems that arise because of manufacturer's decisions to how they're going to produce these products and to manufacturer's decisions to ignore problems when they first learn of them and to do anything about them to prevent further children from being injured.
If you or anyone close to you has had such an experience and has been suffering because of it, please contact Levine & Slavit at your earliest convenience so that we can get more information and help you with your problem.
