MR. IRA SLAVIT: You have to bear in mind that usually there's no videotape of the accident. And while it may be obvious at the time of the accident what happened, things change over time and you may need to have people come to court and testify and explain to a jury what they observed so that the jury will believe that what you say happened is the truth and that you'll receive compensation for your injuries as appropriate, whether it's a car accident or a fall on premises or a construction accident. Any type of injury or case, witnesses are very, very important.
